Style Perspectives: A Blazer + Sneakers

Hey friends! Glad you’re here for Week 11 of Style Perspectives. This is fast becoming a favorite of my weekly posts. It’s so fabulous to see everyone’s take on the prompt. I can’t wait to see what everyone has cooked up for this week.

But first, let's recap the highest clicks from last week. The most clicks were for Nicole from Nick & Nicole +4. She rocked the mint tunic and scarf with her leggings.

The second top look that was clicked goes to Whitney at Whitney a' la Mode. The little cutie in her leggings looks with a fun sweater and scarf.

Well, here’s what I have put together with this prompt. I recently found the chambray blazer I have been looking to purchase for quite awhile. I decided a graphic tee would be perfect under the blazer. It might be because Deena always rocks the graphics and I kinda want her collection.

Well, I guess I added the pearls for Deena too or maybe she has just had some influence on my style. Adding pearls typically dresses up a casual look and that was my intent here. So I like this look but it isn't one I could wear to work any longer unless I replaced the skinny jeans with a dressier pair of pants or a skirt. That's what makes remixing fun. Being able to change out a piece or two allows a look to go from casual to business casual. Oh, yeah...I'd have to change out the shoes as well if I was going to wear this to the office.

By the way, these are my first sneakers. A Target pair that I was planning to replace with Chucks this Spring but now I think sandals might be a better investment for me. These have served me well though!

Style Perspectives: A Leggings Look, jazzed up with a scarf!

Week ten of Style Perspectives already?!? That's just crazy! it has been so much fun and a huge success. Each week our link up is growing and we are all having a great time scoping out the fabulous looks that link up each week!

This week I'm on deck with my prompt!

Some say leggings aren't pants. As someone who spends a great deal of time in said leggings, I beg to differ. Leggings can be worn across all seasons and really are the ideal look for that Thanksgiving holiday, amiright? They can be dressed up or down, you can spend a whole weekend in them if you want, and they are just easy! And simple and easy is ME! That's why I chose leggings and a scarf for my look today.

Because this is Spring Style Perspectives, here's my leggings look for Spring!

Springy, simple, easy and a lil bit of fun!!

During spring the cropped leggings come out and the sandals go on. On most people this polka dot tunic is an actual tunic, but on me it's more like a dress. I just love it though. My watercolor infinity scarf is my favorite to go with it because the seafoam green of the dress is speckled throughout it!

Infinity scarfs are my favorite accessories. Because, again, they're easy to just throw on and go. And wearing a scarf for me always means having my hair up, which is another plus (especially when you're are not a morning person and leave no time in the morning to actually do something to your hair...I envy Sarah's hair posts!!)

I've worn this look a few times this spring. It just made me happy...especially on rainy days when I could wear my pink rain boots with it too!

No matter what the season, I always wear leggings on rainy days!!

For me and me style, leggings and scarf...any great accessory really, are staples. I comfortable in them and when I'm comfortable in something I like "me" in it? Are leggings you're thing?!? What does your Graphic Tee say about you?

Welcome to the week of the graphic tee. I am super excited to see how people style their tops, but mostly what parts of their personality come out in their personalized portable posters.

First off, thanks to everyone who participated in last week: the statement necklace and cardi. Look at the variety of looks:

So let's talk the graphic tee. I wear them often and have at least 10 in my closet. So for this post I decided to take graphic tees and dress them up for all levels of outings.

1) The lazy day graphic tee. Usually mine is paired with a plaid button up or a cozy blardigan, lulus and of course, my padraigs.

2) For running errands: denim vest + graphic tee + jeans and a fun necklace.

3) For a day in the classroom : blazer + graphic tee + jeans + fun shoes

4) A night out: Fun shirt, fun skirt and killer shoes. I wish I would have put a blingy necklace with this.
